I heard so much about this book and it was on The Social book club last year. I finally got the book and started reading. Normally it doesn’t take me very long to read a book but this book it took me forever to read. Don’t get me wrong but who doesn’t love a dysfunctional family. Leo Plumb get’s into an accident with another woman. It’s a bad accident and he goes into rehab for drug addiction. Melody, Beatrice and Jack Plumb are mad a Leo and their mother because they used The Nest to bail him out and to put him in rehab. The Nest is their inheritance that their dad gave them before he passed away.
Th book is about how they struggle with money and how they need The Nest to help them with their money troubles. They feel that Leo Plumb ruined their lives and dreams. They feel that Leo has no remorse for everything he has done. I really struggled to get into this book but I am the type of person that I have to keep reading the book until the end to know what happens. Even if it’s boring I need to finish it. The best part of this book was towards the ending.
